Since 1990 Benin has embarked on a truly innovative democratic revolution in Africa. The existence of both freedom of press and freedom of association not forgetting the republican institutions, contribute to the democratic free play which assures in Benin an exceptional political stability essential to development of economic activities. It enjoys an enviable situation in a continent too often ravaged by political crises.
Despite the many assets it has, Benin continues to be a third country because the multiples resolutions taken by its leaders have not met strong and tangible pillars for its change. Like most nations of its kind, threatened by global warming caused by the mismanagement of the environment that destroys groundwater and thus reducing the chances of people to get water in quality and quantity. This same phenomenon leads to soil infertility causing the hunger of many habitants living of agriculture. At the same time, this increasingly bottom-up poverty is reducing the literacy rate and increasing the rate of unemployment.
With this in mind, AYPAD Benin has established itself as a vision of: Contributing to the well-being of young people in general and women in particular, in a healthy environment, while providing assistance to disadvantaged people. Through its many objectives : the fight against global warming, the protection of the environment, access to drinking water, poverty reduction, the promotion of women, the reduction of both unemployment and epidemics illnesses such as: HIV, Hepatitis; without forgetting the privileged place we have to give to refugees who, like us, have the right to citizenship as well. AYPAD Benin implements the means and methods to support the State for a “Benin REVELE”.
