Looking at the Cameroon’s emergence vision of 2035, it can be seen that Cameroon by then should be an emerging nation but cannot do this due to the lack of human and material resource, being wrongly orientated from the base as the foundation is not solid. We all know the recent crises plaguing Africa and the world in general, climate change, which can be linked to poor orientation and sensitization of the public on the importance of tree planting and preservation of our environment. Moreover, the lack of finance to aid in tree planting projects and limited training skills and expertise make the task of mitigating climate change more difficult.
In this regard, AYPAD Cameroon has among his goals the fight against high level of youth unemployment in the country by organizing agricultural and forestry training workshops, capacity building programs, which in a long term will help them to be self-employed.
AYPAD Cameroon will complement the efforts of the organization by fully implementing the activities of the organization in line with the sustainable development goals. To start we are currently embarking on the tree planting and beautification project nationwide and other projects will subsequently follow.
